Lawn chairs and/or picnic blankets are recommended.\n\nToledo Opera’s five 2025-26 Resident Artists — chosen from an international pool of more than 150 applicants for a one-year residency in Toledo — will perform iconic vocal selections from the classical repertoire\, along with musical theater and other American standards. Toledo Opera’s 2024-25 Resident Artists are Sarah Rachel Bacani (soprano)\, Danielle Casós (mezzo soprano)\, Brady DelVecchio (tenor)\, Rick Hale (baritone)\, and Yura Jang (pianist).

SUMMARY:Get Into the Spirit of Opera
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the fiery spirit of Carmen with an evening of music\, cocktails\, and creative flair. This special edition of Get Into the Spirit of Opera brings opera lovers and newcomers together in a relaxed\, offstage setting. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails developed in partnership between Toledo Opera and Toledo Spirits\, curated to reflect the bold and sultry essence of Bizet’s masterpiece. For every signature cocktail purchased\, guests will be entered into a drawing for two complimentary tickets to Carmen and a gift certificate to Toledo Spirits. A portion of the proceeds for the cocktails will be donated back to Toledo Opera\, and cocktails will be served until the opening of Carmen.\n\nThe evening will feature performances by members of the Carmen cast\, as well as opportunities to mingle with fellow opera fans.
