With more than 25 years in the music industry\, his career is a testament to perseverance\, creativity\, and authenticity. Taylor’s journey began with the alt-rock band Staggered Crossing\, whose hit “Further Again” became a defining track of the early 2000s. After the band’s disbandment\, Julian re-emerged as a solo artist and leader of the Julian Taylor Band\, delivering fan-favorite albums like Tech Noir and Desert Star\, which showcased his genre-blending mastery.\nHis breakthrough moment as a solo artist came with his 2020 album The Ridge\, a stunning acoustic collection that earned two JUNO Award nominations\, a Polaris Music Prize nod\, and the Canadian Folk Music Award for Solo Artist of the Year.
