SUMMARY:Gavin Adcock at Centennial Terrace
DESCRIPTION:Gavin Adcock is a 25-year-old Georgia native born and raised in Watkinsville. Former Georgia Southern University football player Gavin grew up working on his family cattle farm and dreamed of riding bulls in the PBR. He started writing songs in high school\, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2021 when he tore up his knee playing football that he used his time healing to record and release his first original single. Since then\, he has put all focus into his music and has released multiple singles that have now amassed nearly 500 million US streams collectively with his recent release A Cigarette having over 80 million streams and counting. His debut major label album\, Actin Up Again\, was released in August of 2024 and was the most streamed country debut album of the year. He has sold over 100000 tickets between the two legs of the highly successful Actin Up Again tour which runs from the fall of 2024 until spring of 2025.

DESCRIPTION:The 52nd Annual Old West End Festival is a two-day event celebrating one of the largest historic districts in the country! You can expect live music\, multiple food markets\, a beer garden\, house tours\, shopping\, The King Wamba Carnival Parade and much more. \nThe festival starts on Friday at 9 PM with the Glow Roll where bikes and golf carts can cruise through the Old West End. \nThen start your Saturday with the 5K Run check-in at 7:30 AM\, the race begins at 8:45 AM\, followed by The King Wamba Carnival Parade beginning at 10 AM. Celebrating its 116th year\, the parade kicks off the weekend with art cars\, floats\, performance art\, and music from artists across the Midwest. The Toledo Museum of Art’s front steps will host the coronation of King Wamba (Dave Kosmyna)\, and Queen Sancha (Christine Palmer).  \nTour 5 Historic Homes and enjoy FREE LAND BANK HOUSE TOURS at 624 Delaware Ave. and 614 Virginia Ave. \nExplore the Art Fair on the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion grounds and The Marketplace on Woodruff Ave. You can also enjoy the food and live entertainment at 3 locations and a Beer Garden at the Agnes Reynolds Jackson Arboretum. Garage & Yard Sales will also span the entire Old West End. There will also be children’s activities near the Marketplace\, Art Fair\, and Glenwood Park (located at Robinwood @ Collins St.) including Toledo Metroparks and TMA programs. \nThe Glenwood Park Bazaar “Ribs + Jazz\, Rhythm & Blues\,” the best Backyard Bar-B-Q Ribs and classic R & B & Jazz music at the festival! Located across from Glenwood School there will be activities for children and adults including line dancing\, open mic karaoke\, smooth oldies music with live entertainment\, and more! \nThey will also be accepting donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items to the Equality Toledo Community Pantry; donation boxes will be located at info booths.
