The popular concerts take place twice a month on Wednesdays on the verandah of the historic home of 19th U.S. President Rutherford and First Lady Lucy Hayes. Admission is free. \nEach event begins with an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. Donations can be made for the ice cream but are not required. Performances start at 7 p.m. \nThe 2025 Verandah Concert schedule is: \n\nJune 11 – Matthew Ball\, The Boogie Woogie Kid\, playing boogie piano music\nJune 25 – Bridge County Bluegrass Band\nJuly 9 – Toraigh\, playing Irish music\nJuly 23 – Ragtime Rick & The Chefs of Dixieland\nAug. 6  – Terra Brass Choir\nAug. 20 – North Coast Big Band\, performing toe-tapping tunes of the World War II era\n\nVerandah Concerts are sponsored by Fremont Federal Credit Union. Additional funding by Promedica Memorial Hospital. \nIf there is inclement weather\, concerts could be canceled. Please arrive a few minutes early so that they are able to get everyone checked in so that we can get on the water ASAP. \nOnce the evening paddle is finished\, they will provide transportation to GardenView Flowers where everyone will then be able to pick their own bouquet. After this\, they will also transport everyone back to Maumee River Outfitters to their vehicles! \nTickets are $55 per person and that covers everything you need to kayak and pick flowers\, including transportation\, & the kayak. Singles and tandems are available with pricing available per person. \nThis event is pre-sale only\, we have a 48hr cancellation policy and all ages are welcome! \nNote: If the water level does not permit the down river paddle\, they will float through the canal to the open water in the dam!

Please arrive a few minutes early so that they are able to get everyone checked in so that we can get on the water ASAP. \nOnce the evening paddle is finished\, they will provide transportation to GardenView Flowers where everyone will then be able to pick their own bouquet. After this\, they will also transport everyone back to Maumee River Outfitters to their vehicles! \nTickets are $55 per person and that covers everything you need to kayak and pick flowers\, including transportation\, & the kayak. Singles and tandems are available with pricing available per person. \nThis event is pre-sale only\, we have a 48hr cancellation policy and all ages are welcome! \nNote: If the water level does not permit the down river paddle\, they will float through the canal to the open water in the dam!
