DESCRIPTION:The Lucas County Fair returns from July 7 – July 13! The fair features exhibitors\, events for all ages! \nEnjoy Brew Off with the best breweries in Lucas County. You get to be the judge and vote for the brewery who will win the Award Winning Beer Tasting Contest. The Lucas County Fair will also have many daily events that range from daily music performances by local artists\, multiple types of Motorsports\, and there midway which will have vendors\, games\, rides\, and much more! \nCourtesy of the Lucas County Commissioners\, Lucas County residents will receive free admission and a food voucher for a selection of free food at the 4-H Cafe on Thursday\, July 10th and Saturday\, July 12th. Proof of residency may be required. \nGeneral admission tickets are $7. DESCRIPTION:Bring a lawn chair and relax to the sounds of ragtime\, bluegrass\, Irish music and other genres this summer during the Verandah Concert series at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. The popular concerts take place twice a month on Wednesdays on the verandah of the historic home of 19th U.S. President Rutherford and First Lady Lucy Hayes. Admission is free. \nEach event begins with an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. Donations can be made for the ice cream but are not required. Performances start at 7 p.m. \nThe 2025 Verandah Concert schedule is: \n\nJune 11 – Matthew Ball\, The Boogie Woogie Kid\, playing boogie piano music\nJune 25 – Bridge County Bluegrass Band\nJuly 9 – Toraigh\, playing Irish music\nJuly 23 – Ragtime Rick & The Chefs of Dixieland\nAug. 6  – Terra Brass Choir\nAug. 20 – North Coast Big Band\, performing toe-tapping tunes of the World War II era\n\nVerandah Concerts are sponsored by Fremont Federal Credit Union. Additional funding by Promedica Memorial Hospital. \nIf there is inclement weather\, concerts could be canceled. You get to be the judge and vote for the brewery who will win the Award Winning Beer Tasting Contest. The Lucas County Fair will also have many daily events that range from daily music performances by local artists\, multiple types of Motorsports\, and there midway which will have vendors\, games\, rides\, and much more! \nCourtesy of the Lucas County Commissioners\, Lucas County residents will receive free admission and a food voucher for a selection of free food at the 4-H Cafe on Thursday\, July 10th and Saturday\, July 12th. Proof of residency may be required. \nGeneral admission tickets are $7.
