DESCRIPTION:Stop by St. George Orthodox Cathedral for their 2025 Annual Summer Festival August 15-17! The festival will be held on the Cathedral grounds at 3754 Woodley Road. \nOn Friday\, August 15th the Middle Eastern Festival gate will open at 5:00 pm and go through on Saturday\, August 16th at 4:00 PM\, and close on Sunday\, August 17th from noon until 5:00 pm. \nAdmission is $5.00 per person\, and children 10 and under are free! \nThis year’s festival will feature local bands of Madison Avenue on Friday and Saturday night from 7-11 pm and on Sunday from 2-5 pm. You can also expect Middle Eastern music\, and Arabic dancing throughout the weekend! \nMiddle Eastern and American food will be available for purchase. Favorites will include sfeeha (meat pies)\, green beans and rice\, baked kibbe (a meat and wheat mixture)\, grape leaf rolls\, and the Middle Eastern pastries that everyone craves. In the Fast Food area Middle Eastern and American sandwiches\, french fries\, and the ever-popular Zalabee (elephant ears) are among the smells filling the air. Adult beverages and soda will also be available. \nThere will be a children’s area with kiddie carnival games\, crafts\, and bouncy houses and more! \nSelf-guided church tours will run throughout the festival hours and church memorabilia and novelties will be available for sale. \nBring your family and friends to the only Middle Eastern church festival in the Toledo!
