SUMMARY:Independence Day Fireworks | Maumee & Perrysburg
DESCRIPTION:The City of Perrysburg and the City of Maumee will host the traditional Independence Day fireworks on Thursday\, July 3 (rain date is July 5). Fireworks will begin at 10:00 p.m. and will last approximately 20-25 minutes. \nThe fireworks will be set off in a new location this year. American Fireworks will set them off in the green space on the west side of the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge off Rapids Road\, which is higher elevation than the previous location at Orleans Park. \nParking will not be permitted off Rapids Road\, and spectators will not be allowed to sit on the bridge due to it being in the safety zone. Orleans Park will be back open for spectators this year. Other viewing locations include Fort Meigs Historic Site and Riverside Park on the Perrysburg side as well as along the Towpath Trail on the Maumee side.

DESCRIPTION:The Lucas County Fair returns from July 7 – July 13! The fair features exhibitors\, events for all ages! \nEnjoy Brew Off with the best breweries in Lucas County. You get to be the judge and vote for the brewery who will win the Award Winning Beer Tasting Contest. The Lucas County Fair will also have many daily events that range from daily music performances by local artists\, multiple types of Motorsports\, and there midway which will have vendors\, games\, rides\, and much more! \nCourtesy of the Lucas County Commissioners\, Lucas County residents will receive free admission and a food voucher for a selection of free food at the 4-H Cafe on Thursday\, July 10th and Saturday\, July 12th. Proof of residency may be required. \nGeneral admission tickets are $7.
