SUMMARY:9.11 Twin Tower Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Toledo Club is honored to host the 9.11 Twin Tower Challenge\, an event to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11 and to honor our first responders and military who continue to serve by climbing 110 flights of stairs\, 2200 steps up\, which represents the number of steps in the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers. Participants can complete the challenge all at one time or space their steps out beginning on September 1. \nOn Thursday\, September 11\, The Toledo Club will be holding an event that is open to the public where participants can complete all 2\,200 stairs at one time at the club from 3-6 pm. \nParticipants that complete the fallen fire-fighters journey challenge are invited to The Toledo Club for a celebration on Thursday\, September 11 at 6 pm in The Pub for light refreshments and time with friends. The celebration kicks off with the honor of “ringing the bell” to signify that the call was completed and to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This is a free event and open to any participants who pre-register and complete the challenge by September 11. \nPlease email fitness@toledoclub.org to register.

DESCRIPTION:Located in downtown Toledo at Promenade Park\, this 5k run or 1 mile walk honoring stroke survivors and their family members. Run along the Maumee River front\, across the Cherry Street Bridge and through the beautiful Glass City Metropark. \n100% of registration\, donations\, and raffle proceeds will go directly into The ProMedica Foundation Stroke Patient Assistance Fund. DESCRIPTION:The Toledo Club is hosting a Bikes to Bridges event on Saturday\, September 27. Registration starts at 8 AM and the ride starts at 9 am. This is a family-oriented ride that will take you across the Cherry Street Bridge to the Glass City Metropark. After a brief break\, riders will head across the Craig Street Bridge for a quick stop at the Toledo Farmers Market and then back to the Toledo Club for lunch and fun. CycleWerks is partnering with the Toledo Club to offer support and supplies. Create Art Studio will be at the event to offer a creative art table for kids of all ages.
